Tesiyi T4 charger / external battery for 4 * 18650

Overview of charging Tesiyi T4 is a convenient accessory for lovers of soaring and just owners of a good battery fleet of exactly the size 18 650. But like all universal devices, it’s very so-so for each particular function ... Details inside the overview, with measurements / comparisons and other things.
The number of external batteries I have already exceeded a dozen and I do not have a logical, adequate explanation for this hobby. But there is a passion, and today I will talk about the next product in this niche - charging / external battery Tesiyi T4. There are a number of similar models or even clones among themselves and can no longer be traced - where is the initial idea, and where is the copying ... Tesiyi T4 was chosen after a good experience with Tesiyi T2 which has already been used for some time. After all, it is convenient to take out the discharged batteries, throw the obviously charged ones and get the device ready for work again.
My copy of the T4 came from the store of vape goods and there it is clearly positioned as charging for 18,650 batteries. More interestingly, Tesiyi T4 costs 19.99 - Tesiyi T4 Smart Digitial Charger - when Ali costs 22-24 dollars. At helzkabin free delivery of 29.9 dollars and it is not difficult to finish this amount when the subject is interesting.
Well, we get almost a traditional box for Tesiyi, only larger in size than the T2.
T2 is no longer snow white, is gradually overgrown with micro-scratches to become ivory. However, nothing new.
Cables traditionally pleased - I just checked the current output (2A), I use others. But I’m surprised by the thickness of it all, reminds of the cable from old printers.
Included is a manual, but what it is - it is from the T2 model =)
In principle, everything is marked on the case and you can already navigate it - charging with 2A current, two separate ports with 1–2A current output, everything is quite classic.
Inside there are 4 seats for 18650 batteries (which are protected, that are not protected). It is noteworthy that the device works with 1-2-3 batteries and without much difference in current efficiency.
In matters of current there is a strange nuance. After all, it is difficult for me to remember the device, in which the icons on the ports actually corresponded to reality. Conditionally matched, since we see a voltage drop by 2A current.
The whole oddity is that the port with the 1A icon can in fact only use 1A, and even then with difficulty. With a current of 2A charging goes into protection and off.
Totally, the current performance also does not shine and the maximum that we have to count on is useful 1-2A, which one by one, that together with two ports.
The discharge goes surprisingly evenly, and not like that of NITECORE F2 Flexible - in turn. And according to the results, I got 4 batteries discharged to 3 volts 18,650 and 7,4Ah at the output.
The charge current is also far from the stated one and in terms of 4 batteries * 2600 mAh it will be almost a dozen hours of charge with a final voltage of about 4.18-4.185. But there is a UPS mode - end-to-end charging while maintaining the on state and the possibility of switching to internal batteries when external power is turned off. Excellent for the role of a backup power supply for internal surveillance cameras powered by 5 volts - breaking through their own, all kinds of xiaomi and the like. Thus, the power will be supplied and the camera will write to its card, even if the whole building is de-energized.
Below is a video review of charging Tesiyi T4 with a vivid demonstration of current efficiency and UPS functionality. Toward the end of the video, there are two completely furious external batteries of 28,000– 30,000 mAh, one of which can charge laptops. Their reviews are not yet ready, because testing with a discharge of 1A of such a volume takes a day, and another half a charge =)
As a result, we get a device that combines the functionality of charging and the functionality of an external battery. Yes, and just a case for 4 * 18650, when there is a need to have them nearby (vapers, perhaps the lights). That's just with Tesiyi T4 - the external battery turns out pretty lousy in terms of current output, and the charging turns out to be too slow, especially when there are already devices for 4 slots under 18650 and a current of 3A for each slot at the same time . Only the UPS functionality stands out a little against the background of everything else and can add the necessary function in case of its demand. In all other cases, I would recommend having a separate good power bank and good charging separately.
